Lapland
Experience magical Lapland in different locations in Finland! Through a collaboration with Timetravels, Jönköping Student Union offers trips to Lapland every semester.
We have a few Lapland destinations in Finnish Lapland this Spring semester we are going to Kilpisjärvi, similar to Levi it is also a popular ski resort in Finland and for a good reason! add: It is located in the middle of untouched nature and large expanses of wilderness. It boasts with excellent slopes, wonderful winter activity possibilities, high-class cottage accommodation and wild parties! Thanks to the Northern location, you can often spot Northern lights in the night skies! On this tour, you can also make a stunning fjord trip to the Arctic Ocean in Norway.
Highlights of this tour: Santa Claus Village in Rovaniemi, a husky safari in the wilderness of Lapland, a reindeer safari, snowmobile safari, night snowshoe trek, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing - and swimming in the Arctic Ocean!
During Spring 2024 the Lapland trips will take place in February and March.
