Quiz night

From Wednesday the 14th of April and onwards, a new concept will be launched at Akademien. The JSU project team will host Quiz Nights with different themes every week. There will be a limited number of tables available, therefore all participants need to sign-up before the event.

During the past year, the majority of the education has been conducted digitally and all physical events from the Student Union have been paused. The Student Union has noticed that lack of physical events has had a negative effect on students' mental health. As a result, students have met in groups outside of campus. Therefore, the Student Union has planned a concept that offers students a safer meeting environment. By opening a part of Akademien, in line with the current regulations, the Student Union can offer an event where the risk of spreading covid-19 is minimized.

Following actions has been made in order to reduce the risk to spread corona. The actions follow what the Public Health Agency recommends.

• Maximum four seated guests per party / table
• At least one-meter distance between each party
• Hand sanitizer is available at entrances, toilets and other areas
• Clear guidelines aby the entrances, toilets and other areas
• Parties are transported in and out separately and according to instructions from the staff, to reduce crowding
• The event ends 30 minutes before Akademien closes in order to provide enough time to safely guide people out.

The concept is based on similar events that are available today and follows the regulations developed by the Public Health Agency for restaurants. By offering students a safer alternative, we hope to be able to contribute to a better student life, despite the current situation.
