How can you best describe your work at campus?

We monitor the work of the Board and the Presidium and oversee that the work is in line with the plan of operations and other guiding documents of JSU. We also work to identify and suggest improvements, including additions and changes to the JSU by-laws.

In what way have you influenced the JU campus during your year?

There has been some issues this year in regards to transparency and openness of organizations at JU. Therefore, we have been working to make transparency a key area of focus throughout JU.

What made you apply for this position?

The Operation Controllers (OC) have not had a clear or effective role before, we thought it would be interesting to reinvent the OC, to become more engaged and make it a more vital part of the JSU.

How often do you have meetings?

Most of our meetings are based on the schedule of the JSU Board. We attend the board meetings and then discuss the situation afterwards. We also tend to have meetings at very short notice in order to deal with situations as they arise, however, we manage this well by being in contact in our awesome facebook chat!

Identifying areas of improvement and making creative suggestions on how to make things better for students at JU.
