Presidium

The Presidium consists of the President and Vice President of the Student Union. If you are interested to apply for either of these posts, you must be ready to take time out of your studies and work full-time for the Student Union as a paid official.

The President and Vice Predient are responsible for the daily operation at the Student Union. In addition, they have respectively responsibility areas.

If you get elected, you need to be available for a hand-over after the Annual Meeting. The hand-over will be adapted according to your schedule.

Mandate: July 1st 2023 -June 30th 2024

Hand-over period: May 13th- June 30th 2023

Operation Controller

Do you have experience within the student life and how the Board should function? Are you curious of what the Student Union does and have an interest for how organisations work? Do you want to be engaged but don't have the time to be a member of the Board? Then you should apply to be an Operations Controller.

As an Operation Controllers, you are tasked with reviewing the activities of the Student Union Board and ensuring that the resolutions passed by the Annual Meeting are carried out. Your mandate is one year.

The Board

The Board is comprised of 9 representatives, who are tasked with executing the resolutions passed by the Annual Meeting, as well as making decisions in order to reach the goals set. Many tasks are also delegated to the employees and remunderated at the Student Union.

The Board also investigate ways of how to develop the Student Union as well as work strategically with different descisions. In addition, they take decisions concerning the budget and prepare for the Annual meeting.

Do you want experience within organisational development and the student life, then you should apply for a position.

Nomination Committee

Do you have a flair for recruiting? As a member of the Nomination Committee, you will conduct interviews and nominate candidates for vacant positions within the Student Union. Among other things, you will recruite the Student Union's Project Leader. Your mandate is one year.

Last day to hand in your application is April 20th. Click here to apply. External link, opens in new window.

But, you can also apply on the spot for all positions during the Annual meeting.

The pros of sending in your application prior to the meetig is that the Nomination Committee will interview you. They also have the privilige of nominating one candidate for the position. The nomination is not a final decision but it gives the Annual meeting input in how they can place their vote.
