Reminder: Student Travel Icon Required for JLT Student Discount
Planning to travel with JLT using a student discount? Make sure the Student Travel Icon is visible in HitRact — without it, the discount does not apply.
After you have paid your Student Union fee, you will receive the Student Travel Icon in HitRact, displayed on your membership card. This icon is required to travel with a student discount on JLT.
To be eligible for the discount, you must be enrolled in studies with a study pace of at least 50% for a minimum of 10 weeks, and the Student Travel Icon must be visible throughout your journey.
If you cannot show the icon during a ticket inspection, you may be required to pay a control fee.
