Free ecological menstrual products on campus!

Spectra, a project under SSA, has financed and fought for free pads and tampons at JU. Finally, after months (years) of negotiations, SSA was allowed to put them up as a trial.

Enjoy free menstrual products in Accessible toilets at Rio, Campus Arena, Service Center, Akademien, Student Health Care and Student Union office. (Look for the Menssäkrad sticker on the door). If the products are used, but not misused, they can stay! Please, tell your friends and spread the word.

To continue in the campaign, there will be an art workshop led by a pro artist Linnea Bertlin on next Tuesday 19th of April, 16:00-19:00 at JU. Sign up for free to create some art connected to menstrual cycle. External link, opens in new window.

The created art pieces will be than exhibited in Jönköping Länsmuseum and possibly other places. The income from the exhibition will be donated to Women’s shelter in Jönköping.

The intention is to reduce and shine a light on period poverty!
