JSU Studio, apply latest May 12th

JSU Studio, a campus located advertising agency centered round photography, film and graphic design, is currently recruiting more members. Apply latest 12th of May.

JSU Studio is an agency, composed of two teams which focus on film and photography and respectively graphic design. All members are JU students and through their work with the studio and partners such as OAS (a local advertising agency) they are given the opportunity to develop their personal skills in related work. What the Studio does

All projects JSU Studio’s undertakings are founded on its members common interests and the created material is published through the Student Union’s and JSU Studio’s channels. Primarily, the work that JSU Studio takes on – such as logotypes, illustrations, posters, photography, videos, trailers, etc. – is for the Student Union and gets significant exposure not only on campus but also the city of Jönköping. Besides working on projects for JSU, they accept several external projects each year as well. If they want to focus on developing a certain skill, for example photography in a studio or effects in movies they have the opportunity to do so as well.

Development

JSU Studio is divided into two teams, this to ensure that all the members of JSU Studio get a chance to develop individually. The team members work closely together to inspire and motivate each other. Furthermore, JSU Studio work closely with the agency OAS that assists with second opinion on content as well as inspiration. E.g. members of JSU Studio have been invited to certain movieshoots and to their office to learn more about editing. In addition, JSU provides equipment, venues, knowledge and much more!

Profile for Team Visuals (photography/ video):

• Technical knowledge within film and editing
  
• Understanding of storytelling, rhythm and dramaturgy
• Is structured, creative and responsible with an eye for details
• An advantage if you´ve worked in Adobe Premiere Pro/ Adobe After Effects/ Adobe Photoshop before
  

(It´s OK to focus on only photography or video, but please notify us in your application in that case.)

Application:

It´s free of charge to be a member of JSU Studio. You don´t need to have your own camera etc, you can borrow that from the Student Union. You can apply to one or both teams. We would like you to be a member for at least two semesters and participate in at least one project per semester.

Your application (describe yourself and why you want to be a part of the JSU Studio, add your portfolio where we want to see some illustrations/ photos/ videos you´ve done before.)
