New Presidium at JSU

Today, April 21st, the Student Union had their Annual Meeting. At the Annual Meeting Jacob Wassén and Toni Johansson were elected to the Presidium.

Once a year, the Student Union arrange an Annual Meeting, which all students at JU are invited to participate in. The meeting is of vital importance for the work that JSU conduct at campus. This year, the participants of the meeting decided, amongst others, that the Student Union should work more with sustainability on campus in different projects. In addition, they will move forward with helping SSA establish a restaurant providing healthy meals at campus.

Furthermore, the meeting elected students for vacant positions at JSU. You´ll find the list of students below and they will begin their mandate in July.

• Nomination Committee- Frida Ohlsson and Jill Korpelin
• Operation Controller- Marcus Viktorstam

I feel honored to be elected by the students to be President of the Student Union. I am super excited and can’t wait to start my first day at work. I look forward to working with creative and engaged students to make our university life even better, says Jacob Wassén.
