Akademien is Jönköping Student Union’s nightclub, it’s open every Wednesday for all members of the Union. Akademien is one of Jönköping’s biggest nightclubs with three distinct bars/dance floors. One Friday a moth, Akademien offers After school taco buffet. You will find Akademien in Tändsticksområdet in Jönköping, about a five minute walk from Campus.

Brazil Bar
Bar and dance floor with “party music” such as traditional Swedish “schlager music”.
Tokyo Bar
Bar and dance floor with RnB/Club music.
Tokyo bar closes at 1.45 am.
Moscow Lounge
Bar with a laid back feeling and lots of places to sit.
Moscow Lounge closes at 1.50 am.
The guest list
On ordinary Wednesday nights you can bring a friend who is a member of another student union than Jönköping Student union but you have to put them on the guest list before 4pm the same day Akademien will be open. You find the guest list at Student service at floor 0 in Studenternas Hus.
Open nights
On “open nights” your friend does not have to be a member of a student union. Every semester Akademien has two open nights and there is only 200 spots on the guest list, so put your friend on the guest list in time.
