Brazilian culture day

Between 12-13 on Friday, a happy bunch of Brazilian people will share their green-yellow-blue culture by offering snacks, pictures, games and music.

What is truly Brazilian? How much rain forest is there in the country? Does everyone know Jiu-Jitsu? What is Brazilian food?

Come to Books&Coffee in Student House and find out more about the wonderful country, Brazil, and what it’s like to live and study there.

Become a contact person for an international student fall 2012

You can’t say no to the opportunity to experience a cultural exchange which can include everything from learing how to speak french, to cook real mexican tacos, how to grow real dutch tulips, how to dance to german trance and which beaches in Australia are the best for surfing.

At the same time, you get to know more about your culture since you have to teach a rookie about it.

For sure, it’s a win-win situation!

Goodbye Dinner

International Association invites you to this semesters Goodbye Dinner - a splendid evening where you can enjoy good food and entertainment while you say goodbye to all your new friends.

The ticket is 150sek and includes an all-you-can-eat buffét and one drink. Buy your ticket in Student Service.

During the evening, the traditional ”Viking Awards” will be handed out (vote here), and we’ll also hand out prizes for the best Culture Day.

Student Union Day 25th of April

Associations such as JSIF will be there to tell you about which sports you can practice in with them while the associations N3rds and Datasektionen are responsible for representing the virtual world of computer technology and computer games. Other associations will also be there and offer fun activities. The Student Union itself will also be on site with a stage where students will inspire  a liveTwitter wall will also be on the spot to open up opportunities for all students to express their views as well participate in competitions. Because which student does not want to win a fully equipped bike.

Later in the evening at 6.00 pm, the magician Keith Brown and the aesthetic association Showtime offer entertainment in the HJ-auditorium, which is followed by an evening at the Akademien where the band the Concept will race the roof.
